Thought Bubble Comic Convention couldn’t be easier to get to, with regular trains from all over the country, nearby airports and excellent road connectivity. However you choose to arrive we’ve made it easy to find your way!

By Rail

Harrogate Train Station is the nearest rail station, just a short walk away from the convention centre. Direct LNER trains run from London Kings Cross to Harrogate daily.

Harrogate Train Station is also connected to Leeds Train Station, and York Train Station, with journeys taking around 30 minutes.

BY BUS

Bus Services from Leeds - If you are coming to Harrogate from Leeds the 36 bus service leaves every 10 minutes and has a great library on board that will be full of comics to read on your way to the convention!

By Air

Leeds Bradford Airport - At 12 miles (20 minutes) the closest airport to the Thought Bubble convention is Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA). British Airways run daily flights between LBA and Heathrow (1 hour), and there are regular flights from many connections worldwide, including Paris (1 hour 30 minutes), Amsterdam (1 hour 10 minutes), Dublin (1 hour).

To get from LBA to Harrogate, take the Airport Direct 747 bus which runs hourly and will drop you off at Harrogate’s main bus station, from there it’s a five minute walk to the Convention Centre.

Alternatively a taxi will take about 20 minutes and cost around £25.

Manchester Airport - You can also fly into Manchester Airport. This is a 1hour 30minutes car ride to Harrogate, or around 2 hours by train with a change at Leeds.

London Airports - If you fly into any London airport, you can then get a direct train to Harrogate from London Kings Cross.
