John Allison is a writer and artist from North Yorkshire. He created one of the first webcomics, BOBBINS, in September 1998, and has posted a new comic page almost every weekday since then. His series SCARY GO ROUND ran for 7 years. Oni Press released the first collection of his ongoing BAD MACHINERY series in March 2013.

Bad Machinery won the British Comic Award for best comic in 2012. As well as contributing to the Eisner-nominated NELSON and ADVENTURE TIME: MARCELINE & THE SCREAM QUEENS, John's illustrations and writing have appeared in numerous magazines worldwide.
