Ian Edginton is a New York Times bestselling author and multiple Eisner Award nominee.
He is currently writing BATMAN ’66/THE AVENGERS for DC Comics. JUDGE DREDD, STICKLEBACK, HELIUM, CELL COUNT and BRASS SUN for 2000AD. His DOCTOR WHO audio adventure SHIELD OF THE JOTUNN is out from Big Finish in November.
Other titles he has written includes BATMAN, WOLVERINE, X- FORCE, UNCANNY X-MEN and BLADE as well as ALIENS, PREDATOR, TERMINATOR, STAR TREK, STAR WARS and PLANET OF THE APES. He has adapted books by bestselling novelists Robert Muchamore (CHERUBS) and Children’s Laureate, Malorie Blackman (NOUGHTS & CROSSES).
In addition he has adapted PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY and the complete canon of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes novels, as well writing several volumes of Holmes apocrypha, THE VICTORIAN UNDEAD. He has also adapted and written several sequels to H.G. Wells, THE WAR OF THE WORLDS.
