Gemma Correll has bad eyesight. Thanks to the wonders of spectacle technology, however, she manages to hold down a full-time job as a freelance cartoonist slash writer slash illustrator and bumps into things only occasionally.
Gemma is the author of several books, including A PUG'S GUIDE TO ETIQUETTE, IT'S A PUNDERFUL LIFE and A CAT'S LIFE, and has illustrated various things for clients including Hallmark and Chronicle Books. She publishes her thrice-weekly cartoon FOUR EYES at GoComics.com, as well as a weekly cartoon for I LOVE CHARTS at Medium.com. She also draws a monthly cartoon - SKY CATS for the Emirates Airlines In-Flight magazine, Open Skies.
She regularly embarrasses herself by chronicling her sad little life in autobiographical diary comics. She is also responsible for that “Pugs Not Drugs” T-shirt design that you’re sick of seeing everywhere. Gemma is the proud owner of two pugs - Mr Pickles and Bella - as well as an impressive collection of plastic snowglobes.
She currently lives in Norwich, although she’d prefer not to.
