Fiona trained as an Illustrator and briefly worked in t.v, books and magazines before becoming a comic letterer and colourist for D.C comics, 2000 AD and Warhammer 40,000.
She now paints 50's style retro pin-up paintings in traditional oil on canvas to keep that authentic feel. She works mostly for advertising and packaging companies, notably Tesco's Along Came Betty cosmetics range, and Affiliated Equipment in Toronto display Fiona's art on the side of their large trucks.
Last Christmas you may have received some Playboy cosmetics/nail varnish gifts, Fiona's art was on the packaging. She is currently working on a large project for The Balm cosmetics (13 paintings in total, mostly sailor gal and beach themes) and an American Craft Ale company have commissioned a piece for their 'blonde' beer label, she is hoping for freebies.
Fiona still has links with comics, one of her Pin-up's was on the cover of D.C Vertigo's first issue of BODIES written by Si Spencer.
