Al Ewing is a terrible human being who has learned, almost psychopathically, to fake common decency for brief periods, a talent he will be attempting to bring to this convention. Don't be fooled! He's a monster.
As a comics writer, Ewing has written largely for 2000 AD, writing JUDGE DREDD and co-creating ZOMBO, DAMNATION STATION and crossover hit THE ZAUCER OF ZILK for the comic.
Across the pond, he's best known as the writer of the recently-launched MIGHTY AVENGERS series, although he's also turned his hand to AVENGERS ASSEMBLE (both for Marvel), crime comic JENNIFER BLOOD for Dynamite Entertainment, and MARS ATTACKS JUDGE DREDD for IDW.
Meanwhile, in prose, Ewing's critically-acclaimed novel THE FICTIONAL MAN was published earlier this year.
He's happy to sign anything he's turned his hand to and, shamefully, a few things he hasn't.
*Al will be signing at the 2000 AD tables in New Dock Hall at 1355-1525 on Saturday 23rd November and Sunday 24th November
