Entrants must be residents of the UK, and be aged 12 – 17 to qualify for the young people’s category, and over 18 years of age to qualify for the adult category.

Only one entry will be accepted per person/creative pair.

Closing date is 5pm 1st October 2012, no entries will be accepted after this time

The winners will be notified by email.

The prizes: All 6 winners artwork will be published by Image Comics in a 32 page comic book in 2013, the overall winners in each category will receive £200 worth of comic books and graphic novels. Please note it is possible your page may feature smaller than A3 in the finished comic.

All entries will be exhibited from the 1st to 30th November at Leeds Central Library Exhibition Space.

Entrants will own and retain copyright of their work.

Entries can be with or without words (English only), in black and white or colour.

Entries must not have been previously professionally or commercially published and must not breach any 3rd party right.

The finished page must be complete in itself and not part of a larger work.

Entries must be a one page A3 comic book story, with a minimum of six panels.

Entries can be submitted by email or by post along with a completed and signed application form.

The competition will be judged by 3 judges and their decision will be final

The winning entrants and runners-up will agree to Thought Bubble’s use of their names and photographs in relation to publicity material.

Data acquired during the competition, including personal details, will only be retained and used by the promoter for the purposes of this competition and will be deleted afterwords. Personal details will not be passed on to 3rd parties.
