The 3rd Northern Sequential Art Competition, a prize open to artists and writers in the UK, ran as part of the 6^th Thought Bubble Sequential Arts Festival – and in association with Travelling Man, Image Comics, 2000AD, Marvel Comics, and Diamond Comics.

Split into two age groups with a category for young people aged 12 -17 and a second category for adults aged 18 and over, the competition sought to discover new creative talent as well as new work from established writers and artists.

A panel of leading industry figures judged the entries and the winners were  announced at the 6^th Thought Bubble comic book convention on Sunday 18^th November 2012. All winning entries can be seen below, and will be featured in 2013′s Thought Bubble Anthology.
