2010′s Thought Bubble saw the inaugural Leeds Graphic Novel Awards take place in association with Leeds Book Awards.
The shortlist of books nominated for the award was selected by readers at seven local area high schools, including – Parklands, Roundhay, Pudsey Grangefield, Temple Moor, Allerton High, David Young Academy and Mount St Mary’s. The Schools’ book groups read and discussed the following six books:
Sixty young people came along to The Carriageworks on 19th November 2010 to meet four of the shortlisted artists – Kate Brown, Adam Brockbank, Dave Shelton and Kev Walker.
